Welcome to $SAP$: Surviving Structural Adjustment Programs. $SAP$ is a 4 page comic that takes a satirical look at the World Bank/International Monetary Fund. The comic was initially designed to be printed in color on tabloid newsprint for the Sepetmber meeting of the WB/IMF. Needless to say that meeting was called off. The meetings were rescheduled for Ottawa, Canada in November and the comic was revived. It was published in Ottawa as an 8.5X11, 4 page black & white comic to be distributed at the protests and teach-ins. The color version is presented here. It was written by Alec Dubro and Mike Konopacki. Mike Konopacki also did the illustrations and coloring. For more information on globalization please visit the web sites below.
